Hey is anyone able to help me with my technomate 800hd box plz? Its bricked and needs flashing through rs232 but I cant find no instructions on how to do it no where :P

hi. i usually use the HYPER terminal function in windows xp to reflash receivers works really good. You may need to download the TM loader from TM website or look in this forum for one if you dont have Hyper terminal. Basically the way it works is as follows:
a) Make sure receiver is switched off. Connect the RS232 cable from receiver to laptop.
b) Run the TM loader program. Select the software function. Then insert the file to transmit to your receiver from your laptop location.
d) On TM loader click connect and then switch on receiver. If everything connected ok you should see the receiver flashing away . When it completes the receiver should re-boot itself. Check if all ok.
