recordings glitching on playback

Anyone know how to solve the glitching when playing back a recording? I'm using openvix apollo 021 on a technomate tm twin oe. Incidentally if I playback a movie from tsmedia download it plays ok

You've kind of answered your own question there. If playback from online is ok then you need to look at the media you are recording to

No you misunderstood, the online movies are downloaded to the same media as the recordings are

No I didn't misunderstand. Tsmedia files are downloaded in mpeg format which is stored in a compressed container. Recording straight from the receiver is done in .ts (uncompressed, raw) format which requires much faster write speed and can create a buffering type situation just like when you try and stream a high quality video on a slow Internet connection
