    TM 5200D

    hi guys,
A friend has given me a TM5200d, is this the same setup as tm 5000s series? Are there any tutorials on here. Is there a tutorial on here showing how to set up these boxes and enter cline or nline. also is the correct firmware available anywhere? ive setup a blade myself before and was wondering is this similar?
    thanks for help

this TM model is very old now, i had this model about 6 or 8 years ago
and if i remember correctly there were two models super+ and non super, also
it was updated with a rs232 serial/null modem cable.i cant remember
it having Ethernet port. so if it hasn't, it's useless for what the o/p was hoping to
use it for. and with the choice now from TM i would be looking at one of there
newer models that tm support on their download site.

still ok if used with a motorised dish as it should get you b*****, orf/mtv ect and some b*** channels but as stated a cheap TM F3/5 or similar will get you all that emu/b*** has to offer and a lan connection if you want to go down that route, regards mdt
