Technomate 5400 cl+

Sorry but I am new to this.

I bought a Technomate 5400 cl+ but the channels are scrambled. I spoke to the company that sold it to me but they were very unhelpful telling me to ask on this forum.

They did not include a download cable (RS232).
All I received was the box & the power cable plus manual.

Is there any downloads that anyone can help me with & that can maybe put onto a USB memory stick & I can transfer the data onto the box that way.

Does anyone have any downloads for this system so that the channels are no longer scrambled.

I would very much appreciate any help from anyone who can assist me with this problem.

hello mate,
technomate dont supply a null modem cable with the box but you should be able to download what you want via a usb stick.
if you look in the sticky thread section(in red above the normal threads)you should find the answer to all your questions.
the technomate boxes are user friendly and when you scan you should get plenty of FTA channels as well.
you dont say what sats you are looking for or if you are motorised
remember if you do patch your box only use the exact one for your model, and its patch 1st then the latest softcam for technomate boxes. there is a sticky thread telling you exactly how to patch.

Sorry to say but you will not open any pay tv channel on sky uk mate. They are using a non hacked encryption.

you will have to invest in a new dish and motor if you want the most fun out of the box but its not known how much longer patches and softcams are going to open anything.
