    TM1500 advice please.

Hi I'm new to this site. I got my tm1500 going great with a new motor for the 1mtr dish. sats from 19e to 7w all fta fine but are there any cams/cards that can be bought to unscramble encryptions such as conax, viaccess, irdeto, seca or nagra? thanks ROB C.

only official subscription cards now and there are very few channels
that can now be opened with programmable cards or cams, you can use
the tmsoftcam that MDT posts regularly on the forum, what you need is to
update your tm for a later model like the tm5402 that can connect to the router
and after patching the box you can use ways to get the channels open, but the
forum rules dont allow any discussion or members to post info on this subject

The 1500 can also still be used via the RS232 on the rear in conjunction with V-Plug run on a compatible PC this will open plenty of softcam channels once configured but for the hassle a newer receiver would be the better option

          Best thing to do is to get a TECHNOMATE F3/5 , with the soft cams you will be able to clear 39e / 19e / 10e / 7e / 5e / 1w various channels.
