Technomate 500 mini web

Hi, I received a technomate 500 from a freind but when i try to find the boxes web address im having problems finding its address. I have tried turning off the box and restarting it while holding in the power button, but im just getting a message on screen saying undergroud resistance team and just getting a 0 on screen and nothing else, anyone know what i could do..?

When you see the zero try holding the button a while longer till last no of ip shows.

Ive tried holding it for long periods of time but still no joy, i have it in my kitchen and have home plugs plugged into as i have with my open box s10 but its saying i have no internet connection but this cant be right as my s10 is working fine...

Try resetting router. Then switch box off at rear hold power button till couple of swirls then 0 then the end of ip number. This is definitely the correct procedure and does work.Put the full ip number into search bar on computer and you should have mini web where you can enter details. hth

Have you also considered that you can locate the IP addy from your own routers configuration setup as the router if the NIC is working correctly will have assigned it an IP address

Having looked at my routers configuration i can see the techno-mate box in my other room. Could it be possible my home plugs faulty as i can see the web address of the box yet when i try to view through my web browser i cant access it..? And maybe thats why its saying no ip address..?

You say you can see the ip on the router. Why dont you try the box in the main room and connect ethernet cable straight to router? Reset box and router to make sure ip is proper. As I said before with box off switch on and keep holding till you go past zero and get last of ip address. Leave box in that state then type in full ip to web browser on computer and mini web should show. I have used homeplugs without issue unless one is broken and not lighting up. That's why you can try it in the main room with ethernet cable. hth

thanks for all help with this, im now trying to set this box up but when i turn on a channel im getting a message saying wrong data transmission.. done some research and think i need to load new bouquets is this right.. and if so where would i find these for enigma 1 box, regards.
