Technomate TM Twin OE Recording Problem

    Technomate Tm Twin Oe
    Open Pli 4D
    External USB Toshiba Recording.

About half of my recordings are failing lately.
When I go to watch what I have recorded, all I get is a blank screen with the programme name on it.
A few months ago I had to factory reset the receiver as my channels stopped working.
I got it going again with DCC & add ons, but I can't seem to get Coolman Guide going.
I sent it to the receiver & I can find it, but not in the plugins.
I pressed ok to highlight it it & then install it, but it still does not appear in my plugins, even after a restart.
I wonder if the failed recordings are because of the fact that they are not set through Coolman.
Also, I can't update Rats Plugin.
My last successful update was on December 14th 2014.
But it's the failed recordings that are bothering me most as I have plenty of speed.
Hoping I can get help for this.

due to forum rules i could guide you but cant say exactly what maybe the issue, multisat tuners use 1,38 or 2.3.0. you should know what they are.
with image been old is it still supported?
two feeds both setup for 28.2 and both tuners rechecked for bad connection?.
do you have setup epg for usb and recordings to hdd as i would recheck your mounts in set up mounts as mine got changed to epg to hdd and recordings to 8gb usb.
there comes a time when you need to advance your image if you get problems.

      Thanks for that.
All the set up is as you said.
I suspect the mount for the HDD.
I'll delete the old mount & install a new one tomorrow.

          It is mains powered.
It's mounted to media/USB when it should be mounted to Toshiba 3.5 HDD.
I'm at a loss as to how to unmount the Toshiba.
Can I do this through DCC?
If so, I wonder what steps I would need to take.

set up mounts green button should allow you to change it,or delete your mount and remount it all by remote control.
network-mounts setup. if you have usb for epg make sure in mounts its labelled correctly, and tosh says hdd.

Unfortunately nothing happens when I press any of the coloured buttons.
Well, blue brings up a list, but nothing there to do with HDD or mounts.

Tried that & I have a choice between Add new network mount & Mountpoints management.
                  Not sure what to do.

adding a new network mount is if you had another enigma2 box in building it could talk to it by network.
mountpoints management seems to be it for setting up mounts as you want the hdd mounted and set to ext3-4.

Absolutely nothing in there I'm afraid.
I sent TS Panel to my receiver via DCC.
I then went into Device Manager & Toshiba 3.5 HDD comes up, but when I try to mount that, is says fixed.
Then I restarted the receiver & pressed record & it says no HDD mounted or Initialised.
Strange enough as it does come up in the Device Manager.
I also formatted the HDD with my PC using EaseUs Partition & formatted it from EXT3 to 4.

HDD mounted or Initialised. anything in storage devices as it needs to be initialised first then ext3-ext4.
add new network point is for finding another box on your lan network only so no need for that yet.

box has to setup hdd via settings.

                            Success.
I found this in another forum.
                            I did this through DCC.

edit /etc/fstab and add this line at the bottom then reboot
                            /dev/sda1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0

My only problem now is that I have no Rats Bouquets.
Would you have an IPK link for this?
