Newbie Problem

Hi there, I am new to all this socan someone please help me. I was told by our satellite guy to download a patch and a cam from here so I have done this. I have a Technomate 5000 series box by the way. I was told to then extract tem and add them to the box but my computer will NOT let me do this. I am unable to extract the files. Can someone help me?

There could be a number of reasons for this.

I found after reading through posts on Digital Kaos, that downloads worked when using Firefox as your browser.

Also files are either in a .zip or .rar format, so after downloading thay need to be "unpacked" before they can be uploaded on to the stb.

Have a read of the stickies (at the top of the page) there are "how to" tutorials for lots of things
