Hi Go to TM official site and download loader and original patch for your model. You will find loader in TM1000 receiver section. Download it and then download original patch for your model. Unzip both files . You should have a loader for the 5000 series etc and a patch file to use for downloading. To download do following:
1) make sure receiver is switched off.
2) connect the RS232 cable between receiver and laptop.
3) Open the TM loader and select software option and the patch file location( make sure its the .STB for your model)
4) Select connect on the loader using port 1
5) switch on receiver and if all ok the receiver will start flashing figures in display.
6) Hopefully download will complete and receiver back in working order.
