help !!

hi i need help im a complete novice ive insalled a 1mtr motorised dish and a technomate 5400cl+usb i can only pick up freestat and no other satellites is it because i need to put a patch on to unsramble the other satellites
please any suggestions

Only thing really open is digi tv on 1 west and that currently is in between keys changes. To get anything other than free channels you need latest patch and softcam. Softcam will have latest digi tv keys inside. But like I said digi tv down at the moment, and soon will be gone for good.

you should be able to get the FTA channels on quite alot of sats other than 28.2E without any patching, if you get nothing at all from them I"d check your installation in particular that the mounting pole is 100% vertical by spirit level if you use "usals" the motor will find the sat even if the tp your on is not transmitting then pressing scan will find everything available.if you read the sticky thread on installing a motorized dish it may help.
