TM500S image flashing?

A mate of mine has given me his TM500S to resurect.
been ages since i flashed one of these using a rs232 lead
I need a reliable image with cam to flash the box.

Can I use dreamup tool to flash the box or does it have to be with a dedicated TM program?

How do I also load the latest fav channel list?

Why not connect the box via lan and connect to box and use the mini web that is installed on box. Search tm500s mini web guide. You could use Technomate control center as well but mini web on box is easy. Images can be found at technomate software but are old.
