technomate 5402 and dongle?

Hi all, I have a technomate5402HD M1 and I woud like to use a USB dongle to connect it to the internet instead of the classic ethrnet cable, would it be possible, and if yes what kind of dongle is necessary? I tried an old 54g dongle without success....any idea

I believe the only type that will work are those that also connect with a short LAN cable such as the Tenda WM250, the Newer Mark 3 version of the 5402 can use USB wi-fi dongles

The M3 does indeed accept the USB type dongle, I've one running on an M3 over 4 weeks now and it's running very very smoothly, and the data usage has been tiny, box is on everyday, for atleast 8 hrs(mainly as I am trying to gauge data usage), and even longer at weekends as kids use it then. After 4 weeks there has been less that 20mb's of data used, amounting to about 40c of credit.
