    Channels Freeze When Recording

    Technomate TM Twin OE
    Openpli 4D

Every time I record from my external HDD all my channels freeze.
I tried to convert the HDD to EXT4 but it says "error reading partition table failed".
Is there any easy way to fix this by hooking the HDD to my PC & using some program?

Aye, try this on your PC, then use it to format your external hdd to ext4

    Code:

      Thanks.
When I hooked it up it said EXT4.
But I'm scanning it now for errors.
It will take ages as it's 1TB.

Lol, aye minitools doesn't seem to have a 'quick format' option, if you don't need any data on the drive might be easier and quicker just to format to ext4 and forgo any error checking.

curious if your using a portable non powered externally one?

i only use powered external by mains plug and have no issues.

Yes, Minitools no longer has the format function.
            The HDD is powered.
But I got a "brainwave" moment.
I changed my router to channel 6 & I have had 4 perfect recordings since.
I'd say that I was on the same router channel number as my neighbour if that makes any sense.
The only pity is that I would prefer a Vix image, but I can only use OpenPli because at the time I purchased my receiver (Technomate TM Twin OE) the remote controls that were being sent at the time were branded as TM Twin remotes when in fact they were TM 2T remotes.
