hi complete newbie to the sat world bought a tm6900 super today guy in the shop said its patched with up to date software i have not bought the dish yet (cant afford at this time) so have connected to my mini dish and put the s** card in the reciever i can get some channels but a lot of them are blocked can someone give me a bit of guidance bearing in mind that i am completely new to this or have i jumped in at the deep end tutorials would be handy if any about and advise on anything else i need to purchase i am going to buy a 80cm motor dish (i think) next week any help would be appreicated

Well goto menu then system info..then tell me the software date..the very latest patch says nd5 card fixed so it may work...ps..please use stickys for patches...and dont dig out 9month old threads... start a new one...
