    TM6900 Super Locking Up

    I have recently upgraded to the magic patch 703p and since then the box will occasionally freeze when in standby. This is indicated by the clock stopping and not responding to the remote. Switch off at the back and all is well for approximate a day then it will freeze again. Everything appears to work correctly it is just a feezing problem.

    The patch was installed after a full factory reset and both the main patch and addon loaded ok. Sats were re-scanned and softcam loaded.

    I have tried installing a previous patch but the set will not accept it now?

    Any ideas or similar situation with anyone else???

    you need this go back software.

    1-use this software only when tm-6800 or 6900 has been curruppeted by wrong software download
    2-download this software only by rs232 {not USB }
    3-Turn off the set then in browser click ok for downoad after that turn on your receiver wait until download finished
    4-do factory reset, will be ready for any software downoad

    How to get the 6800 & 6900 to go back to the old software if your having problems.

    Use this to go back a patch as latest ones are not backward compatable.

        Success

        Sorry for the delay in getting back. I had to order a Null Modem lead.
        Connected the box to the computer. Downloaded from technomate the loader software and dropped in the go back software from the link.
        I re-patched the sat rec to earlier patch that did not give me any problems and all appears to be working again.

        Thanks for the help on this one.
