Am I doing some thing wrong?

Hi, Ive had my system since around summer time last year.
I get English speaking channels from 1w and 28.2e only.
I have been reading threads where people get channels on 7.0e , 13.0e and 19.2e.
I have been to sites where it lists channels but I do not even receive them.
I was wondering if there is something missing from my set up.
I have an orbital 80cm motor dish technomate 6800hd latest 6.90 patch and latest softcam.
    Thanks in advance.

i dont think your dish is big enough to get channels on 7.0e, you will have to do a rescan(blind search) of the 13.0e 19.2e to add the channels that are open, if they are not on your channel list

you should get a few txp,s from 7 east and 9east/16east/23.5east/42east. you should also get some txp,s off 5east/5west/8west/12.5west/15west/22west/24.5west/30west/37.5west. of course all these are dependent on line of site and no obstructions and concerning your channel list it shouldnt be that old as your stb isnt exactly a dinasour. just scan the different sat positions using network search and see what you pick up

if you go menu>PID search>2nd line(transponder)> green button.this will allow you to put any new TPs of your choice in.then press scan to find channels.if the signal and quality bars stay red you will not be able to get that TP.
