    technomate 600 or dreambox ?

    thinking of getting one but don`t know which one to get any advice please on cccam performance or pics of epg or images or advice thanks in advance

    epg is pretty shite on both boxes (assuming you are after a dm500).

    CCcam works well on the box.

    Some of the DM images such as nabilo and enigma have been ported to the TM boxes but I prefer to use TM images such as UR and DS.

    I would spend my money on the TM boxes really. Genuine boxes for around ?80 compared to a china clone?

      You can run the Rytec xml epg on the 500s using a Jade image which provides a 24 hour guide for nearly every channel on Sky Uk,its very good.

        Ah is that the one that uses Radio times xml for the epg? Might have a go at that, thanks

          Kind of.
          There are 2 xml epgs ,one is Rytec the other is the Radiotimes epg.
          You need to use the Sqlite plugin on Jade to run them.
          I think the Rytec one is better as it covers more channels and updates better.
          You can get them to load a 7 day epg but the 500s only has enough memory to handle 1 days epg in reality.
