can someone tell me user/pass for ftp'ing

thanks bud you dont know of any tuts going do you, am just about all there and only cccam to suss as cant connect through blue panel so gonna try direct from modem as i think it maybe router prob, i get message below

suppose you could ftp over cccam if its your own box
what image you usin ?

i can connect now with flash xp bud if you could give any advice on ftp,ing cccam over as ive only done on a dreambox just recently with blue button

Similar Problem?

I think I have a similar problem, have a TM500 with a UR image on it, connected it up and updated to the latest UR IMAGE but I cannot FTP to the box as it asks for a password ?

I used username 'root' and leave the password field blank but it does not connect to the box (IP address is correct) and I can access the box using IE, and the username 'root' and blank password lets me in.

Am using FLASHFXP, am I missing something simple ??

Got it sorted, by updating the password, looks like FlashFXP did not like the blank password field!!

You cannot ftp on TM500/600 without pass.
Use TCC to set a pass.
