tm600 problem

Hi everyone

total noob to all of this, but I have been learning over the last couple of weeks but have been left scratching my head.

got myself my first receiver (tm600), loaded latest UR, then factory reset, scanned satellites again, installed CCcam 2104, and downloaded softcam keys using red button, but no channels are unlocked. I've tried on Thor \ eurobird \ hotbird and dont seem to be able to get anything. Probs missing something simple, but if anyone has any ideas are things I can try I'd appreciate it alot as cant find much on any forum which will help#

Why factory reset?
Anyway make sure latest image is loaded again, load latest softcam.
Digi tv will open on 1 west.
Try nova sports on there.
Are you getting a good signal on this channel? If not check motor setting or use usals on you motor.

Thought a factory reset was part of the process.

cant find digi tv or novasport on 1w.
I have a snr of 73%, is that enough to pcik up those channels?

No mate not motorised, yeah got BBC World news no bother. thought the softcams would of unlocked a load of channels?

So you are on fixed dish 1 west?
If you can get digi sports or nova or try stv3, these will clear with softcam. No conax encryptions will clear.

what channels are clear, even the fta ones that you can see?

yeah the fta are working, cant see stv3 either, has the stv2's but not that one.

so softcam would not unlock things like eurosport, or the TV 2 sport channels etc?

Im thinking Im needing to do some cardsharing?

Opens all these channels, except digi films and sport 2

If it says nagravision 2 next to it, then it opens.

your SNR seems a bit low mate bbc world gives me over 85% with AGC around 75% perhaps your dish needs a bit of a tweek.as some channels will show "scrambled"if you cant quite pull them in.

Yeah I thought I read somewhere that if the SNR was under 80% then I might struggle, I'll try tweaking it also.

I've got it, kept tweaking dish til I got it to 77%, and it picked up all the channels you sent me on that list, thanks alot for your help really appreciate it
