tm 6900 hd recording problem
Hi can anyone help. I record to an external USB drive with no problems. BBC HD etc all good on playback. But when I record ITV HD programmes it will not play back the file either on my TV or via PC. Is there something different to these files ? Any help would be appreciated. PS the programmes are recorded off satellite not antenna. Cheers

I also use an external drive to record but have no problems with either BBC or ITV HD -
I also have no problem with recording ITV HD.
Only problem I get is constant feezing which is becomming a real issueComment

Thanks for the replies. I am using a Itb external drive and an 8gb stick. The files are on the drives but will not play back at all. One other thing, If you use an external drive, does it take a while before the drive is ready to record on?? Maybe it's because i have a 1Tb drive in order to record lots HD progs, that maybe the reason there is a delay in mounting the drive. Cheers for nowComment

Have you formated the drive as per Technomate instructions using their format32.exe file from their website. It dose make a differenceComment

Yes the drive was formatted as advised so will be ready. As I said I have no problems usually except for ITV HD. Thanks for all your commentsComment
