    "go back software"

    Does anyone remember if you need "go back" software to remove some TM patches? if so can you post a copy.

    if ive had problems i always use the tm official software and then re-patch the stb. these might be what you need. regards mdt

      hello mate, yeah its not for me its for "the darkone" but I see you are on the case. Its that I cant quite pull it back but seem to remember a go back soft software being talked about a while back.

            Thanks Guys
            I am having a go at what you suggest, only problem is the null modem cable for the rs232. Technomate show the wiring for the null cable to be parallel between the two plugs, ie pin 1 to 1, pin 2 to 2, pin 3 to 3 etc, I made one up like this and it dont work. Anyone got the true configuration for a null cable for a Technomate please?

              Forget that last request, I swaped pins 2 and 3 and now it works. Why cant manufacturers provide the correct info in their hand books

                here's the wiring diagram but i would'nt make one
                they are very cheap and in all lengths from a supplier near me who has everything for computers, routers and all cables etc at very good prices
                and his service is fast and good

                  Panic over peeps, I did not need to go down the road that I have, it was all down to the patch being changed, the lates one on this site was out of date I got the correct one of another sat site and presto. Changed again today, seems to be changing regular so watch out
