Problems patching 6800

Hi. I have downloaded and installed phantom 696 patch and also latest digi keys from 29 june but none of thor digi channels open up. They do open with dragon cam that i have installed later. Is there any way to check what's wrong or repatch the receiver in order not to use the dragon cam? Thanks in advance

I use patch 688p on my 6800HD std for digi as said you wont get it with the latest patches.

dont forget latest softcam after patching

Thanks for the replies. Can I just install this patch over the phantom one that I installed before or do I need to do anythinig beforehand?

no m8 just load the patch that dick b has uploaded for you and then load this softcam making sure that the digi-tv a.u. function is switched off in the menu. regards mdt

Hi. Tried this but still digi not opening up. When loading keys shal I just press ok when selecting the file as I aso have option load key by pressign green button? Also any other way I can try to load the patch or check whats wrong?

go into menu>system information and check you have the the correct patch installed it should read 688p.You do have the TM6800HD original dont you and not the super version?the patch I posted was for the original only not super.
to load keys press usb button on handset scroll down to data>ok highlight softcam in the file list>ok highlight file again>ok this you should see file load on screen.

Checked and say 6.88p in system info. Reloaded keys but still does not open channels which open with dragon cam. Anything else I can check/do to make patch work?

you can go into system information again and check that the patch is switched on.you should see two bars one with "cas" and one with "biss" if not type 2004 on the handset this will turn the patch on/off.I"m also sending latest s/cam try that its thanks to sat4fun.

Hi. Tried it..Both CAS and BISS are there. When I go into CAS though all boxes are empty - should it be like that? Under BISS options there is data.

no you should have data in the cas menu.load this softcam it is still active (just checked it)

you could also try using a loader via null modem cable rs232 its the software tab for the patch and the keys tab for the softcam.full instructions are in the technomate stickies. I"ve put a loader in for you.(thanks to sat4fun)
