loading cams/patches HELP

hope this is not a really stupid problem but i can't load the latest cams and patches onto my tm1000d. each time i try it tries to reload the software update i've already done.

i am using a null modem to usb connection, the darkman ver1.8.7 loader and i'm running windows vista on a mac!

oh yes, i'm new to all this so if you answer can you try and make it simple.

use the different tabs in the loader. one is for softcam and another for patch

yes i did that, i used the key tab. i'm still getting the box saying version 2.83 detected... if i install that again and the try to install the cam i just get the same box!

Can you quote out to me the exact message.

i get a box with a message saying 'version 1.84 detected' (not 2.83 as i stated in my last message), under that is a start button. before i updated, the message was saying 'version 1.83 detected'.

I did update the software yesterday from 1.83 to 1.84 using the technomate loader, i then put the file in the trash and emptied it.

i have the softcam and patch file open on my desktop and i use the key tab

Thats ok mate. It should be updated. Might be a glitch in loader. Its fine.
Press menu, system info> then tell me the details from there.

thanks for the interest and help so far, but i'm not trying to update the technomate software, i did that with the technomate loader no problem. it's now 1.84. i'm trying to load softcams and patches with the darkman loader, which i believe, from what i have read on this web site, will allow me to watch scrambled channels. once again, thanks for your help

do you descramble anything?

i just flipped through all the channels and all scrambled channels are still scrambled!

leave 4 a min so it can auto update
