Tm 5000 2ci old version

I've got a tm50002ci non usb which is about 8 years old . Was working fine untill i connected the main cable jack to the back of it ,guess it must have arked since i get 4 horizontal column of broken line across the display screen of the receiver!I cant get the sats on the menu .
