The box should arrive tomorrow, I've had a good search and read up on the subject and d/l'd the resources I think I need. Here's the plan:
Install updated patch to firmware using file Phantompatch-TM6800HDSuper_730p.stb. Install by usb ensuring patch file on usb drive is .stb (i.e. not compressed).
To install place usb stick in stb slot, power up stb, press usb button on remote, on screen now go to data transfer and click ok, on next screen highlight and select (ok) correct patch file. Patch will then load and stb will reboot.
Now I dont think 8281 will work until I install 'add ons' using file ADDON_002p-tm-6900-6800-7100.stb. So repeat above step.
Plug in to router via ethernet, check in menu ip settings to make sure DHCP has assigned ip to stb.
Select any channel then type 8281. In input boxes just add address, port, username and password from Cline given by server provider.
Watch telly!
