    Fausto sssp

    i'm well and trully lost heres where i'm at
    i have a tm5400 ci usb and currently can get the channels from bulsat my question is what is sssp and fausto i have downloaded fuasto but dont no what else to do
    i've been looking all day and no that some great guys on here wiil point me in the right direction while others will just be rude and ignorant
    i realise that the 5400 should be connected to a pc but could it be connected via a rs232 to cat 5

    If you google exactly" rs232 to cat 5 "there is a few solutions there some kind of box you put in between i do'nt know much about it but try gooling it

      thought i would let everyone no that the problem was because my laptop was running windows 7 i've since installed vista and can connect easy thanks guys

        jes man you must love tv, i cant believe you downgraded from windows7 back to vista(the worst ever version of windows)... WOW

          i just love tinkering easy come easy go the amount of pcs in my house i'm used to changing os

          i'm just messing with the tm5400 is there any keys i can add to this

            i'm slightly behind you, i'm going to start tinkering with my tm 5400 ci+(sssp), so hopefully we can get it sorted, i think the cline is going to be the hardest thing to get, i'm on shift at the minute, i have 5 full days to go at this next week, will be in touch.

              going to start trying to do sssp next week i have 5 full days to work at it so hopefully we'll get it sorted, i'll be in touch

                i got a few channels working but to be honest i've loaded the softcam instead its a lot quicker
                on monday i have a dm500s coming so will be stuck into that next week see how much i can get from that bugger

                  fausto is a emulator that runs on your pc .there is plenty of info on the net on how to use it,when i had my tm 6800hd i used it a lot,its pretty easy to set up,i just used a null modem cable from pc to my tm,set ssp to on in tm run fausto and that was it

                    so i dont have to add any files or anything to fausto? it comes with all the keys to open different encryptions? basicly plug and play?

                        canal channels only work when keys are available same for
                        jsc sports,but a few channels open on sirius(nds ones)do a search and you will find which ones open.also there should be a readme file that comes with fausto so all answers to your questions will be in there
