tm1000ci patch help!!!

hi guys,

i attempted to patch an old tm1000ci using all the appropriate software and hardware, after the download has completed i get a blank screen and the receiver is constantly on standby????
im using firefox is the receiver ~~~~ed or is the something im doing wrong?
p.s
i have read the noobs guide on the forum

i can get the patch on to the receiver no problem the receiver then reboots and stays in standby?

dont browse for the stb file using loader drag and drop
it worked for me
