    Monoblock LNB

Hi, Does anyone know what satellites are available with a monoblock lnb on a fixed 60cm dish which is used for standard sky channels as I would like to know if it worth replacing my standard sky lnb and hopefully get more channels with my TM 6900HD Combo. (Not sure how a monoblock works only that you can get 2 sats)
    Thanks !

Depends on the type of monoblock.

Some are 3 degrees spacing, 4 degrees spacing or the one I have got points at 13E and 19.2E(6.2 degrees) spacing.

If you use one on a sky dish the only sats availiable will be the ones near to 28.2E.
    Enter bluebottle.

I think there is a 6 deg. one which might bring in 23.5 but I found monoblocks to be trying as they have to be fairly accurate in the set up.
You could move your dish to 19 or 13 and maybe bring in 16e with a 3 deg, monoblock

If staying fixed on 28.2e you waont get anything worthwhile.

Need Help please.I have a fixed dish with a monoblock for 16 east perfect reception and nothing from 13 east. I am afraid to touch the monoblock in case i lose the signal from 16 east. I am going motorised by the end of the month. My system is a Triax 110 with spiderbox 7000 HD.

are you using the correct 3 degree monoblock and not the usual 6 degree one for 13/19 East

Took the bull by the horn and tweaked the LNB and now have Hotbird. I cant wait to go motorised.

best of luck with your motorised setup as long as you work accurately all will be well.read this guide for spiderboxes it may or may not be any use to you(I"d start a new thread for any motorised questions)
