adding tranponders

hi i have tm5300d + usb super every time i try to put in a new TP it keeps saying invalid frequancy &wont progress is there a sequance i should be following or does the stb noy accept new frequances thanks in antisipation

you should have no trouble adding transponders in the advanced search menu with valid TPs. what frequency /pol/sym.are you trying to put in and on what sat.

they are frequances & sats that king of sat say there are channels on will try it in advanced see if that works thanks

Some tps on some sats cannot be picked up as say in the case of Turksat at 42e some of their beams are pointed east and some are sent west and another factor is your dish size--the bigger the better-- to pick up all available tps.

the frequances are 12034 &12073 on eurobird 9 east as per king of sat it says there are a load of fta on these freq

the 2 transponders you mention are transmitted in dvbs/2 and cant be seen by your tm 5300d+usb which has a mpeg2/dvbs tuner onboard. regards mdt

yes mate but as mdt says you need an HD receiver for them thats why they show as "invalid" on your box.I"ve just checked and get over 30 FTA channels on those frequencies with my TM6800HD.
