6900HD patch help please

Hi All, Ive been offline for a while and not loaded an updated patch for over a year now. Can anyone tell me where the latest patch is and what date it was. They used to be on the main site but cant see them now. I found the "download centre from another post, but are these the ones I should be using? I have a 6900HD combo non super.
Do I need a patch and a softcam? what is the difference? I already patched my receiver when I got it.
Any help would be appriciated many thanks.

you need latest patch first to be able to use softcam
for keys that are open at the moment patches in
Download center and latest softcam

patches are unofficial software that will allow the softcam to work,bulsat on 39E is the best at the moment thijs has posted this for you and this will work for about a week before it goes down.digi tv on 1W is now closed.
