Installation help please!!

Hi everyone,

Hoping this makes sense and someone can advise me.

Current situation is that my dad has a technomate TM-5300D+ upstairs and I have just upgraded our standard sky (wasn't sky+) to sky+ hd.

The dish on the outside of our property is the one that came with our technomate box, it has two LNB's, question is will the sky engineer have to put a new box or can he just leave the current setup and just replace the white receiver for sky+.

Sorry about the newbie question, any advice would be much appreciated - thanks!!

the sky+HD box will need two seperate lnb feeds and I think sky will want to put a new dish up with a quad lnb fitted.this would leave 2 outlets spare 1 of which could go to the technomate if it still wants 28.2E (you may have to do this yourself once the sky blokes gone).you say you have 2 lnbs on your present dish 1 is obviously being used for sky is the other the same or is it offset for a different satellite?
