Windows mail logon problem.

Hi,im new to vista so i need some help,yesterday when i tried to access my mail in windows mail a logon box appeared asking for username and password...

i know there must be loads of free e mail accounts apart from hotmail ,what are they? and whats the best ones ?

Mine won't even load 9/10 times.

Arent we supposed to be notified with emails if someone send a comment to the threads we wrote? If so why cant i recieve them? Thanks.
