Windows 10 Incorrect Screen Resolution

The edge of the screen is missing when laptop is plugged into tv, seen the same problem with a few laptops. Is there a fix for this?

ive just installed a fresh version of window xp pro on my old pc... ive noticed after the installation that the screen resolution has gone a bit weird......

My new years resolution is 10.1 megapixels. Not the best, granted, but i was previously only 1.3 mp.
My blur has gone and i look great.
