Dolby Digital / DTS Surround sound via HDMI

Hi, I have a v3.2 vu solo clone with blackhole 2.0.8.

I also have a Yamaha AV receiver.
I cannot get DD or DTS surround sound to work...

i had a lg surround sound system and through my virgin box the sound was glitching, they tried to fix it 4 times and decided to give me my cash back,...
