Help with ODOMETER CORRECTION @EDC16

Hi Guys,

Once again, congrats for your Forum.

I have a "Vag K+ Can v3.0" and i need to correct the Mileage on the dashboard of a "Audi A4 2.0 TdI my2006" so i guess its a EDC16.

Newbie here, so i?m afraid of screwing things up... can anyone help me out on HOW it is done?

What dash do i choose? Do i acess it via K-Line? Can 1.6? 2.0? Can L? Can H?

Dashboard has 100.000kms

I want to put 200.000kms on the Dashboard so it matches.

Why/How must i change the EDC16 also?

A4 2006 = RB8 (crypto) CAN, can't do this job with vag k+can 3.0 only RB4/K line.

Audi A4 my 2006 have RB8 Bosch Crypto K-line.
After 2007 Audi A4 and A5 have CAN on dash.
In theory K+Can 3.0 from China can make RB8 thru OBD, but no EDC16.
IMHO K+Can from China is a fuc*ing russian roulette....

You are right, I never could adjust a 2005+ a4 by K-line only connect by CAN, the cluster RB8 is K-line indeed, most modules are CAN.

Thanks for Your kind help, but at this point i am a little confused... can i ou can i not adjust the mileage on the dashboard of the A4_TDI_my2006 using the Vag K+ Can v3.0?

If so, can someone briefly tell me how? A simple 1, 2, 3.

My friend, in theory K+CAN 3.0 from China have Audi RB8 in menu, but i don't think will work.
1. Open K+CAN (Choose K-Line)
2. Enter Intrument/Imobilizer
3. Choose Audi RBx Crypto 2004+ (i thinks is last)
4. Press Read eeprom
5. If you are lucky you will see odometer value in right windows (if not, but eeprom was readed OK Save to file and post here).

Well i have the exact same need! Unfortunately ;-(

Which version of VAG commander do i need? 5.1? 6.3? 6.x, 7.x?
Can the software be download somewhere? Can the software be used with a cable sold with a VAG CAN commander 1.4? or 5.1?
I say this becaus i can't find where to buy VAG commander 6.3 for example? the latest i see on ebay is 5.1...

I have a audi A3 sportback quattro 2.0L 140cv of november 2005.
... and so the engine ECU should be a EDC16 right? or EDC15?

I repeat, i want to correct the engine ECU odometer, towards the dashboard one.

LAst question: this means i will write the EEPROM or the FLASH of the EDC16?

and this can be done connecting to the OBD plug with the tool?
