***************Autel MaxilM KM100 new tool arrived***********

I just bought an Autel KM100 and i would like to keep here the tracking of what he can do and can not do.
It would be great that all the owners can post their experience here with the tool.

1. Audi A3 2012 add key - full procedure using Autel KM100 (pin + add key, remote was programmed with VCDS)
2. Renault Megane 2 2007 add key - full procedure using Autel KM100

Does the km100 have the same immo key prog functions as the im 508?

i would say No , if it had autel would score a huge own goal as all of their im508 customers would get rid of their tools and buy one losing autel a huge fortune in annual subscriptions , it would be commercial suicide for them and the lost subscriptions would slow development or end up with km100 having subs added to compensate.

I would agree but have just read somewhere else it does , but there must be some misinformation regarding its immo prog limitations.

i havnt seen a full coverage list for km100 , though mercedes is missing so i suspect the difference would be the functions that need to use the autel server and those that need xp400 that im508 with a valid subscription would have and i suspect it will lack the basic diagnostic functions of im508 like dtc reading and clearing .

it may well have the same immo functions as an im508 that is out of subs so no server access and without xp400 , but then so does most other cheaper tools , its the server access and xp400 functions that set it apart from some others , just as its the diagnostic suite that sets im608 apart from im508 .

I would expect them to be like xhorse etc, I'd say they are but have never used them, what I am interested in is the vehicle coverage that this tool can do, have emailed autel about it but not expecting a full answer, I don't think it's fair on 508 and 608 users if this tool is covering cars that users have paid good money for, but it's interesting

Last week, did AKL for RAM 1500 2019 smartkey, use Autel key perfect

KD nor Xhorse can make this smartkey for DODGE until now
