Thanks to you, I have found one 24c02n in an old ram memory of an old pc. But still have two questions:

I must program new eeprom with 20,30,40 lines ffff but what cables may I cut, so that the ecu has no communication with uch??? Someone says it is not neccesary to do this and someone yes, but nobody talks about what cable/s is /are.........any info of this????

I dont want to cut any trace in ecu, so that the operation could be reversible, this is if I am not able to in*o off and must definitelly change the uch. This is because I prefer to lift pin7.
Is the same lift pin 7 than cut trace of pin 7???? I supose yes it is but prefer to make sure before.

    Very thanks to all

I have been watching schemes, and seems only need to cut the 59 pin/terminal. This is the only one I need to cut. Or not?

    New notices!!!!!!!!

Have been watching carefully all ecu, has another eeprom in the top that is a B58328.!!!!!!!!!!! This is the same as the 24c02!!!!!

So I have two 24c02 eeprom:

One in the top and named B58328

Other one in the back (it is almost in corner) named 24c02, Fairchild one.

So if this is true, we have been working with the non correct dump, because it is not the correct eeprom!!!!

No problem because I have intact the old one Fairchild eeprom, have not modify anything, but it will be great to Know which one is the eeprom where in*o info is located.

Any help from anyone have done this job in the past will be appreciated.

Thanks for your help, but as I have said in my first post my unit is:

    Vehicle megane dti year 98
    Unit is Bosch 0 281 001 810
Inside is a 24c02 memory in the back and a B58328 same as 24c02 in the top.

My unit seems as the first image you have upload, seems the same but not the same reference, but if it is the same......seems as memory have to read is B58328????

Very thanks for your help, at this moment have very good all, but dont Know wich memory of both have to modify.

I dont Know how upload images of otockeckor inmocleaner, but if you have you could check images of ecus when you select Renault and EDC15 models............image is exactly what I have.IN this case Inmocleaner says eeprom is 24c02, with image now I am sure eeprom is one that is in the bottom,

But it says I must change 24c02 ori, with a 24c16............I am going crazy..now that I have found a 24c02, comes and tell me I need a 24c16???????

What do you think? All people in this forum tells me that only is needed to change if it is a Fairchild type with a new one 24c02.........but no one says nothing about 24c16.........

Been confused, ver thanks for help.
