    Default S-MAX 2.0TDCi - Boost pressure control valve wiring

    Hi,

    I have fault code P0045 in Ford S-MAX 2.0 TDCI. Boost pressure control valve has been changed, but problem remains.

    Does anyone have electrical wiring diagram for this engine. There must be electrical failure in cable or connectors.

    all 3 wires are connected to ECU

    Three wires? This seems to have only two.

    yes exactly, 2,0tdci is produced from 2006 so for exact question is exact reply ;-)

    there are 3 wires for vgt position sensor - located on vacuum bank on turbocharger......

    Let's try again. The car is made 2011. I attached the picture of the component which has only two wires in connector.

    "Turbo Pressure Solenoid Valve,turbocharger Boost Valve 9652570180"

    engine code or kW?
    2.0L Duratorq-TDCi-DW AZWA
    2.0L Duratorq-TDCi-DW QXWA
    2.0L Duratorq-TDCi-DW TXWA
    2.0L Duratorq-TDCi-DW TYWA
    2.0L Duratorq-TDCi-DW UFWA
    2.0L Duratorq-TDCi-DW UKWA

    fuse 12 is common for egr and vgt.....second wire goes direct to ecu....

    According to google error code P0045 is about "Boost control solenoid"-circuit. Is that same as "Turbocharger Variable Vane Actuator" in diagram?

    Did you check vacuum circuit, some time if there is a damaged actuator or vacuum leak ,come code P0045.
