currently issues with this same tool.... they updated again and with that broke the software... as usual with Chinese developers... (?_) - After scanning the QR code it decodess but I can never get the tool to write the copy as it says 'wrong data' when the Handy Baby 2 tries to receive the decoded data. Be warned, if you have the version in which you do not have to choose between ID46, ID48 etc for fast decode.... don't update! Anyone with a solution yet?

I have several tools which i can use for cloning so will use them instead of handy baby till this is fixed and the id 48 free cloning should be good till end of year if you have existing handy baby one or 2 and the free two years for wifi version 3 which come out this month.

Handy baby 3 wifi version no bluetooth the ariel part is a joke tried to collect 15 times from my skoda to try tool than told me need to activate it no idea in instructions eventually scanned barcode on android app and activated the interface and the webpage is nowhere as easy or good as xhorse mini key tool the calculation took 3 minutes the sniffing from car was not easy to find the right spot where it reads better buy ebaby as can sniff from distance also need to insert in and out 15 times also the menu on the handy baby 3 needs a serious update looks like was created by a baby not impressed at

for cloning ID48 VAG...

jmd e-baby and or jmd handy baby as hardware is enough...?
or is it neccessary to buy activations and or other hardware like obd adapter...?
please only real users, get many differnet answers from NOT real users and or resellers...

I know that i have the jmd original and used for online id 48 but needs a cable to connect to phone the handy baby 3 wifi connects to web uploads than calculation trough app the pick up of the ariel is very bad the handy baby one much better sniffing from ignition key 15 times in and out what a schedule to perform thanks i have other cloners i can use xhorse mini key tool jma and keyline shame knowbody

HB1 is still my preferred tool to check and precode transponders.

HB1 is easy to use without phone you can see the internal pages and change the precoding very easy

to check the frequency KD is better and also quick clone 48 chips

XH mini is best to generate transponders on XT27

Lonsdor K100 is the only that can properly check Ford keys with 902MHz frequency

yes, i also use volvo 48 chips offline with hb1. some volkswagen vehicles, uds ones, with handy assistant, I get information from obd and do it very fast.

wifi don't work anymore, and bluetooth cant be paired so device becomes useless

Xhorse did last 48 calc in 1 min so vastly improved with 1 hour wait i had couple of times last year
