i just tested it , had to reinstall the drivers manually and to update the firmware -unfortunately it still shows 100% cpu usage / ecu not found...
Could it be possible my (rather old ) Dell D610 is too slow for these newer versions?
I run Windows XP /sp3 , 1,73 gHz / 2mb cache memory, 1 gb memory.
I connected a multimeter to the K-line and see a few voltage drops when i press ecu data so i guess MPPS tries to connect to the ecu...
Unfortunately i don't have a newer/faster laptop to test this version, i will wait for other comments...

on what ecu you are trying to read out the id ?

if it is on k-line it could be that lm339 or hc32d is defect,
if it is on can then check sja1000t and the smd 8 pin driver 2551.

btw. i just tested my mpps with 10.0.2.3 version on vag edc16u34 and it works very well read and write, will tonight try on my other car audi a4 with edc15, will let you know about it.

i try to read a IAW5NFT1 ecu from a Fiat Stilo (K-line) - worked without problems with a alu clone with v5 upgrade chip.
I will try to replace the two chips, will post the outcome here.....

Hello, no it never worked from the start - i bought it as non-China v8 , upgraded to v9 on request of the seller, now upgraded to v10 but it just don't connect to the ecu while a cheapo v5 clone works without any problem...
It does show all tool and software/firmware data so i guess the mcu is programmed o.k. (confirmed by updater)
I will replace the two mentioned chips and hope this will solve my problem.
I also just ordered a second alu clone v5 as back-up, it's just 36.50 euro including free shipping from China at the moment....
If i can repair the v10 tool i will use my ordered v5 chip to update this clone as i expect it will be a v3 with the v5 patch...

the same problem for me.
i have a european v8 clone and works with no problems with the v8 software.
but with the v9 my mpps doesn't work with my golf5 edc16u1
and it's the same with the v10!!!! he doesn't work.

Mine is also from Belarus purchased as a v8
i test it with v8 reading and writing ok edc15 and edc16 psa
v9 no reading and writing edc15 and edc16 psa
v10 reading and writing edc15 ok
Tomorrow I try EDC16 and i let you now

i think V10 is the same trash like V9 !!

but with V9 i could read me7.5 with a little trick

i make ID with me7.1 than i switsh to me7.5 and click read !!

that was working on me7.5 with V9 now with V10 nothing !!

i dont know what they are doing in the Factory but its trash too for the moment !!

what windows do you use ??? i use win xp prof 32 bit on win2000 MPPS is not working !!!
