If you have original tool, send log file to AMT to resolve the problem in next update ... maybe.

    Best regards.

It does show all tool and software/firmware data so i guess the mcu is programmed o.k. (confirmed by updater)
I will replace the two mentioned chips and hope this will solve my problem.
I also just ordered a second alu clone v5 as back-up, it's just 36.50 euro including free shipping from China at the moment....
If i can repair the v10 tool i will use my ordered v5 chip to update this clone as i expect it will be a v3 with the v5 patch...
    to be continued....
Q: when you try to "ECU ID" - do you get the message "ECU not found"? - (for K line)

if yes - change the LM339 and HC device - maybe it will work!!!!

Q: for CAN - what message do you receive for "ECU ID"?

    atb

yes, i get message "ecu not found" upon "ecu id" request on K-line with version 8,9 and 10 - i will replace both chips as suggested and post te results.
Same test with simple alu clone with v5 update chip works o.k....

I did not test it on CAN because i only use the MPPS for my private car (Stilo 1.6 with K-line for diagnostics and reprogramming)

    thanks for your help...

LM339D and 74HC32D are two smd chips inside your MPPS - you can replace them by desoldering and resoldering .....
I'm still searching for a supplier who sells small quantities.
