Default Peu Boxer PUMA 4HU injector waveform

    Dear Peugeot/Ford expert,
I have a Peugeot Boxer with PUMA 4HU engine, ecu Delphi DCU102
    2.0 diesel.
It crank slowly nearly 270 rpm, fuel high pressure is 470 bar for the first seconds THEN in 20 seconds it drop to 220 bar.
    The target is 370 bar.
    Fuel filter is new.

Another garage changed the high pressure pump, it's new, and the EGR also is new.
Starter motor is new, battery is new.

Sent injectors to test and found one stuck open.
    Bought a new injector.

    Engine crank but no start.
Please take a look to the injector 4 current waveform while CRANKING and not starting.
    DCU102injectorCURRcranking.jpg
Tell me if it is right or wrong. The current clamp was set to 1mV/10mA and the oscilloscope was set to 30A clamp current.
This engine use Delphi solenoid injector and the injector resistance is 0.5 ohm for all the injectors.

Engine will fire only if I use ether and it reach easily 6000 rpm, but it will die as soon as ether is no more applied.
Van has more than 400.000 km

    Hello!
    1) DCU102 is Visteon, no Delphi.
    2) Check RPM sensor and its wiring. Sometimes it becomes clogged with clutch or starter wear products. At the same time, the number of revolutions of the motor will be visible on the scanner, but there will be no start. This is a feature of such cars.

Sent ECU to check because injector waveform was really poor and waveform was a sinewave, not what you expect for solenoid Delphi injector.

P1305 High pressure pump learning. Temporary learning not executed.
    P1306 High pressure pump learning.

Engine crank only. ECU has been checked by a specialist.

Engine start and run only with ether, if I remove ether the engine die.

High pressure pump is new. Got 435 bar while cranking but the pressure will drop to 220 bar in 20 seconds of cranking.

    What will you check now?

    Thanks

    Hi.
If you haven't checked the signal of the crankshaft sensor with an oscilloscope, do it.
I had several such faults with a damaged tooth. The oscilloscope shows an incorrect signal.
There are no DTCs and the whole system is going crazy

Will check tomorrow. With ether the engine reach 6000 rpm and you can see it in the dash.
Remove ether and engine die, no current to injector.

    This signal is not valid
It may be due to the resistance that the engine puts up
For the second session, I suggest removing the glow plugs or injectors to relieve the engine
The signal measurement will be reliable with the motor loose

I propose to extend the signal more in time
The signal seen on the oscilloscope from the missing tooth vertically and horizontally should coincide
Time stretching will make it easier observe the signal

You can always check the pulser teeth after removing the starter motor
The crankshaft sensor itself is inductive, it happens that it breaks and then it freaks out
I think you replaced the sensor, if not do it for sure

And don't forget the camshaft sensor
Its signal is needed for up-down synchronization. Without it, the injectors have no signal

Immobilizer I think you have excluded. If you do not see it in the parameters
