Trying to read 93c56 - Need help

I've been trying to read a 93c56a chip using CH431 and AsProgrammer v2.1.0.13, but cannot get it to recognise. I was able to read a 25Q80BV with no issues, so I know the hardware/software at least works for that.

I have been re-routing the pins with jumper wires using the diagram attached, the program seems to recognise something when I try to detect chip (reads as SPI Flash ID (9F) 000000), but when I pick chip manually and try to read it just says "check settings". Any help is much appreciated!

Use 3.3V to read the chip and out of circuit.

Thanks for the tip, it turned out the ic was rotated which meant the pin layout would be different
