    Default Audi A4 dash dump

    Hi guy's
Hope you can help, i am desperatly in search of a dash dump for reprogramming a motometer highline dash (2003model). It keeps throwing fault code 01794 and 00474 after just disconnectin the battery.
after a 10 minute drive tha airbag light comes on. Deu to corrupt software in the dash. It has to be programmed with dataversion D18 or change the cluster with the 8H0 920 931 TX

In the audi world is this a known problem of that series of dash, for me it's the first time.

Any help on this is appreciated
    Thanks

8H0 is RB4 you cannt rewrite any dump. Rewrite VIN to your original dump. If you write different dump to dash you will get DEF message on display

this is bosh cripto , in this case you must have same vin in airbag tcu and ecu . If you have diferrent vin on airbag and instrument that fault is present

1.First of all, for your information, check with VAG-COM channel 81 (measuring blocks) in ECU (01), dash (17), airbag (15) and central electric (09). In all units should be the same VIN. In both cases, when it's equal or not, you can try to readapt your dash to the car again. Get login (from dash or ECU) of your vehicle and use following procedure:

    Connect to dash (17)
    [Login - 11]
    Enter your vehicle PIN.
    [Do it!]

    [Adaptation - 10]
    Enter 050 in "Channel Number".
    [Read]
    You'll see "32000"
    Enter your vehicle PIN.
    [OK]
VAG-COM will validate the data you have entered and return you to the Login screen, where the Login Code will show as "XXXXX".

    [Test]
    [Save]
    [Done, Go Back]
[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]

Switch OFF the ignition and let the car sit for ~1 minute, then switch ON the ignition again.
Verify that the NEW (USED) instrument cluster now shows the VIN/im*o-ID of the vehicle now.

    2. If your problem will appear again, you may try to find software D18, as you wrote (unfortunately i don't have one as you asked me via PM), upload it to eeprom (cable or programmer) and readapt dash:

    Connect to dash (17)
    [Login - 11]
    Enter PIN of new dump.

    Proceed with key matching.

    Connect to dash (17)
    [Login - 11]
    Enter your vehicle PIN.
    [Do it!]

    [Adaptation - 10]
    Enter 21 in "Channel Number".
    [Read]
The "Stored Value" is the number of keys currently matched.
Enter a "new value" corresponding to the total number of keys to be matched, including any existing keys.
The old keys are automatically beeing cleared.
    [Save]
    [Done, Go Back]
[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]
Repeat the following steps until all keys have been matched:
Switch ignition off and remove key.
Insert next key to ignition and switch ignition on again.
The warning light for the im*obilizer will light up for ~2 seconds, then go out Switch ignition off and remove key.

Note: The above steps after saving the adaptation, should not exceed 60 seconds!

    3. If you will be unable to get version D18 you can buy new or used dash with number 8H0920931TX and readapt it like in second case.
