Default trying to read 24c16b with willem.

Hi I am trying to read a 24c16b chip from a Grundig radio with a willem programer only a cheap one , But I am having some trouble removed the chip with hot air and attached to a test clip with isp lead to dip.
Put this in the 24c Chip slot
But when trying to read it comes up with No Ack Device Comand.
I have checked all connections on the chip and all are fine and I have selected 24c16 as the device but it will not read am I doing something else wrong?

Tryed it with a 93c chip last week and read no problem.

Btw this is a dual power willem so uses plug voltage and usb I have tryed both and on there own but still get the same error.
    Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply as stated above chip has been removed/desoldered with hot air and have checked connection on the test clip and chip many times still no joy. Also tried playing with twp and twc still not helping. All dip switches are set to the off position as shown on the software diagram.
Just keeps saying No Ack Device Command

Btw using Willem Eprom 0.97ja software
