It works, it is official firmware from the 2023. There is no advantage using it.

Theres no point using newer firmware on older software. The software calls specific firmware. There is differences that wont work the same as the firmware specifically for the software.

Use 3200 for 2020, 3201 for 2021 and 2022, 4601 for 2023 which has not been cracked yet.

That 4801 firmware is for the official 2023 version. It is pointless using firmware other than the one that came with the software. Some things change in the software thats why there is different firmware. Stick to 3200 for the 2020 and 3201 for the 2021 and 2022

I’ve bought the 2021.11 Autocom with DS150 single board (allegedly!), but it only works with firmware 1620 and doesn’t accept firmware 3201. I’m using this scanner for my 2007 Mercedes CLK 320CDI and 2015 Mercedes CLA 220CDI. It might be a silly question, but am I missing something by not being able to use firmware 3201?

Firstly it is not the real 2021 version but a modified and renamed version of the 2020. We made that free for all in febuary last year. Secondly you need to physically open up the vci to see what is inside. The chinese will say anything just to make a sale.

If it does not accept 3201 firmware then it is junk. Email mhhhanstanz at gmail dot com for the best quality vci.
