OPEL ASTRA H TWINTOP PROBLEM

Hello.

Can someone give me direction on how to fix my Opel Astra H twintop.

I didn't open roof for a long time. When I tryed to open it it opened normaly but wen I closed it it didn't finsh closing completly. I didn't notice this until I tryed to open trunk.
Trunk latch didn't fully close so trunk doesn't open with button and I get anoying beeping after 25 km/h...
I rotated the trunk latch to "closed" position (battery on motor wires). Now trunk works and there is no more beeping but roof doesn't open anymore.

There is no DTC on roof ecu, all wires are ok, all statuses are ok except "Trunk Lid Latch Contact Switch Status" is shown as failure. Both microswitches in latch work ok, and latch motor also works ok.
If I rewind motor to be between end positions than I get lid latch status "inactive" on both end positions it reports "failure"
I tried everything... Set latch to both positions, unplug ecu, unplug battery, check connectors. check wires, started hydraulic motor to push roof to full close...

I run out of ideas...
Is there any reset procedure to tell the roof ecu that everything is ok?
Maybe temporary unplug some sensor?

FIXED IT :-)

It was roof ecu problem....


Now it works like it should.

I seem to have the exact same issue with my 2008 model. Can you elaborate on the ECU problem and how you fixed it?

Hi,

I replaced relay that is used to control boot lid latch. It was stuck closed I think...
Try to unplug boot lid latch connector and do few presses of button for open and close roof.
You will hear relays clicking in roof ecu. Myabe that way you will "unstuck" your relay and it will start to work like my did that but got stuck again in two roof cycles... so i replaced it.
Don't forget to clear DTCs after connector unplug...

I have very same issue with my 2007 Astra but having a problem with finding out which relay controlling boot lid latch.
I'm posting photo with color coded relays can you point the one that you replaced.
