Bmw 525d from 2005, active steering problem

Car have:
-active steering - I cant calibrate anymore
- dynamic drive

*I fixed some wire that was bad.
* gearbox was opened to replace some parts - that have more wear (hoping to fix it, to work electric again)

* any ideas if or what ECU need to have some vin number?
