Mercedes Sprinter CRD3 kess write problem.

Hello everybody, i need help please , i read a Mercedes Sprinter , i used kess v2 2.80 , the read was sucess , but the write of the remaped file at 100% an error happened , the write was a fail , i was unable to restore ECU with kess by obd.


I will post the original file and id.


I am worried that the read file is currupt , can someone see if that is the case please ?


I only want to make the car stock at this point by restoring the file by obd with kess.


I dont want to risk damaging the ECU with ktag Boot mode tricore.


At this point i am unable to read the id.


The remap file that i atempted to write was only dtc removal , the checksums were corrected in winols.


I want to solve this issue , and in the future help other people in this forum.

You never must do checksum for KESS writing. This is your mistake.

And your archive is damaged.

I forgot to say , i used a special protocol , because the tool is clone , there was no specific car , so i used the following protocol. I Will post photo.

your read is OK and 100% ori. can u try writing using recovery function?

I tried recovery but an error ocorrs during recovery , and the software kess , keeps asking if i want to recover , but every time ir does error.

battery on/off too ? if that doesnt write it then u have to use bench / boot tools for sure

Batery stabilizer was used , and followed kess instrucions on ignition on and off.
I have ktag but i AM afraid to Open and tricore Boot mode recovery , afraid to ruin the ECU.

i mean take battery negative OFF and then back ON to reset all modules. then try write again. boot tricore is not hard but if you're a beginner its easy to make mistakes. bring to someone with experience maybe they have genuine tools to work via bench without opening
