Well I now have Ashes Cricket 2009 - PAL - R6KP36 I downloaded the cracked save game just in case it locked up.

I start it up and make a new profile and I can play cricket without using the saved game crack so I don't know what all you other guys are doing wrong?

Well if you this it appears not, Ashes Cricket 09 is the only one list. There maybe cricket games in one of the other game discs.

I would have thought that saved games work on any Wii version its called compatibility. They have to be the same game version PAL or NTFS as those won't interchange.

I wouldn't have thought you needed the latest save file as once you run it you create your own save file. There are 2 Ashes games threads on here I think both have save game downloads you just add them to the SD card in the private folder. Put the SD card back in the Wii Click on Wii Options and keep click throught the left hand box until you see your saved games. Then click on the SD card tab and click on the Ashes 09 save game and copy it to the Wii memory.

You would then run the game the load that saved game. My Ashes 09 works and makes a save game without downloading one of here.

There are different save game files for different versions NTFS and PAL and they won't interchange, you can't choose NTFS or PAL, just save it what the game type is.
